    1. Ahhh, those skeins of Skein. I picked it for the Hogwarts Express because I think it's Owlies-appropriate and the Owlie border will look great, especially with green beaded eyes.

  2. Your Gemini looks super duper Gerry! Once again a lovely knit flying off your needles! I am binding off my cardigan and then on to the sleeves. My daughter gave me some very pretty yarn for mother's day and I will hopefully be casting on an Annabel cardigan soon.

    1. Is your Annabel cardi the one of Rav with what looks to me like a seed stitch?
Tracey, anything you knit is beautiful.

  6. Just went back through some posts...my you've been busy:) And quilting books too? Wow. Someday I'll be able to have time for crafty stuff again. When I do, it's counted cross stitch. Use to sit for hours doing it. Now I'm too busy trying to survive in this economy. That being said, I'm off to work:) You have a great day with your needles, creating more beauty.

  11. The colour suits you to a tee!! Job well done. Another pattern to bookmark on Ravelry. I have been eyeing Skein yarn ever since Knitabulls mentioned it; yours are beautiful.

My daydream is being on an alpaca farm surrounded by cute furry creatures. Knitting of course, and sipping a glass of super cold Chardonnay. Instead, I am in my office, surrounded by unloving paperwork and Starbucks Jet Fuel. Sigh. I like my daydream much better.

    Hugs, veelau

Hey, we live on those DayDreams, don't we.

As far as that Gemini and the Pink Raspberry - I'll tell you right now that color just makes my heart sing. Have one skein left and just might have to buy a couple more.

  17. OH MY Gosh your beautiful and so is your top. I love how this turned out.
The color on you is prefect.
I so wish I could get your haircut. Every time I go to the beauty shop and tell them to cut my hair off they refuse. Crazy right. I need to take this picture of you and tell them this is what I want to look like.
    Love ya

  19. Love the Hogwarts Express pattern. I did a baby sweater just before I left MO and it used the cable owls. (Pic on my ravelry page) They were fun after I got comfortable with them. I look forward to seeing how the shawl progresses in that lovely yarn.
    Happy knitting!
