You're so right. I can't put the dern thing down. I've had these two yarns for quite a while but couldn't find 'just the right project'. Then this week ! ! ! WHOLEHEARTED came up And here we are knitting like crazy. I'll have enough yarn leftover to make another with the colors reversed.
Everything you knit is beautiful Gerry, everything! I had planned to cast on this pattern, but then have been derailed by a very sick 14 year old. Needless to say I haven't done anything I was planning on doing. Love to you! Oh, we are going to 43 tonight...unheard of here for this time of year!
Beautiful, Gerry, as always! I have knitted with Knit Picks Stroll yet but I think after I've knit more of my stash down, I'll have to get me some! I'm on my second broken rib repeat so I'm catching up with you!
Cool, Evelyn, now I know the name of the pattern we're knitting. I sure didn't know what I was knitting. Knitting the Stash Down is the main, well, maybe not the main reason for knitting, but a great reason to knit more.
Thank you for complimenting my shawl. I enjoy the act of taking yarn and a knitting needle and looping the yarn into a sock or a shawl. It is rather magical. Rachael, please come again soon to see the finished shawl. I'll be posting photos to show off my work. :^)
Doreen, it's so nice to have you visit. I love to show off all me projects. Hadn't thought of Strawberries - but can certainly see that now. I absolutely love working with this darker color. I must have more of Summer Blossoms. Let's visit again, soon. hugs
Just so lovely. These colors are gorgeous. Hope honey your weekend is just as lovely. I always love it when you come by and say hello to me. Have a wonderful week ahead and can't wait to see this when you have finished it. Love ya Maggie
