Where or where shall I begin - - -
How 'bout these Vesper Wildberry
toe-up with AfterThought Heel.
Love these Reds, Pinks and Purple-y Lavender ! !
Am knitting each stripe of leg a separate pattern.
Nothing earthshaking, just a bit of a change-up.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Just thought I'd throw in the $ 'cause it's sooo close to Tax Day ! ! ! !
:*(
I cast on this BoneYard Shawl yesterday afternoon.
Designed by Stephen West
I've used this pattern once before.
It was last fall for a shawl for DD#2.
The First Time Knitting With Wollmeise Yarn
Oh, I'm a fool for these colors.
The blue's so darn striking.
Popping out for all the attention.
Look at me! Look at me!
**************
And one more for today.
My first pullover sweater
It had my full attention for an hour-and-a-half
at the doctor's office Monday so made headway.
Have not wanted to set this down for even one minute.
I've checked and re-checked measurements
still working with fingers-crossed.
I'm showing your the side vent detail. One of the features that drew me into this venture.
I've just finished the waist decreases for the front darts and back darts and will knit for a couple of more rows before increase rows for the bust area.
Now, it's time to get back to the yarn.
Enjoy the rest of the day.♥

Your sweater is looking fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt's going smoothly. :*)
DeleteIt's Friday Gerry and I still have two weeks to finish up all the tax work for the paper pushers so I am not going to think about it tonight! Argh! :)
ReplyDeleteI do like the construction of your pull over and I do like the vent.
I hope you have a great weekend. I will be making strawberry jam!
Strawberry Jam !! I'll drop by later to watch the process :*) if only we lived closer.
DeleteYou have made a lot of progress on that pullover. Love the color.
ReplyDeleteIt'll keep moving 'til I reach the armholes - then????
DeleteWhen I saw the Vespers at first sight I thought they were finished. I was going to say I was blown away and I still can because when I scrolled down to see the progress on all three KAL's I was blown away. I got two rounds knitted today 8^)
ReplyDeleteOnly a few stripes more to go 'til FINISH ! ! !
DeleteOooh, those blues and purples are so striking ... such vivid and bright colors. Yummy!
ReplyDeleteI ♥ ♥ ♥ THIS COLORWAY ! ! ! ! !
DeleteThe pullover is coming along wonderfully!!! Love your taste in colors. Those socks are wild!!!
ReplyDeleteColor makes choosing just the right yarn an antagonizing time of it
DeleteHow fun with the sock cuffs in varying patterns!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in the Bone Yard Shawl.
The sweater is looking better all the time--the side vent is a clever design element.
Overall--you are one prolific knitter!
Hugs!
Thanx for stopping by Anna Marie.
DeleteMay as well play with the leg portion, If it turns out I don't like it I'll just frog it back and go with stockinett
That blue in the BoneYard is popping! ! ! !
Sweater is easy going - - - - concern about the bust line, but did the math so just might work. Again, if it isn't, frog time.
hugs
Everything you are working on looks fabulous, as usual! That blue in the Bone Yard shawl is going to look awesome with your coloring and hair, Gerry! And that pullover is fabulous....it must be so cool to be able to actually make a garment for yourself with yarn and two little sticks! :o) Can't wait to see the finsihes.
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Cyndi
Thanx for stopping by Cyndi. So far all the projects on the needles are going well. We'll see how this pullover progresses.
DeleteThe Boneyard is lots of knitting.

Sweet Maggie, as always, love hearing from you.
DeleteI must begin wearing more blues.
Hope your week is wonderful and not too hot.

Just love your purples, reds, and pinks. ::sigh:: You are quite the busy knitter lately!! Can't wait to see the finished sweater!!
ReplyDeleteYep, knitting's been my passion for a while now. Since I am just beginning to branch out into sweaters, it's entertaining me big time.
DeleteThanks for visiting, Shelley.
hugs
Gerry
You are definitely a knittin' fool, Geri! I love what you do and appreciate you sharing. Knit on. . .
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful way to create ! ! ! And, oh, so portable, Patty.
DeleteThere's always a project in my purse for those spare moments.

Love the sweater vents. I couldn't get the link to work, so I'll have to sleuth it out. I've been looking at the boneyard shawl, but I'm afraid now that I've knit lace it might be a little boring! But it would probably be really great car knitting. I've discovered I really like lace, when I have time to concentrate on it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping me inspired. I'll be posting pictures of shawls and kettle dyed handspun soon.
Joanna
Joanna, thanks for pointing out the 'missing' link. I've fixed it now.
DeleteThe Boneyard is a lot of stockinett, but I like the finished look and is sometimes just what suits my fancy.
I enjoy lace knitting also, but does take concentration.
Looking forward to your coming posts, Joanna.
