  4. Cute mitts! I like the variety of your seven WIP's: two sweaters, two shawls, two pairs of socks and a pair of mitts! I love the concept of the "short rows" shawl.

  5. You are definitely making progress on that list of WIPs! I'm loving the fingerless mitts, especially the first pair, the color is so pretty and they look very smooshy (of course they would be, they are Merino!). Have a great rest of the week!

    1. Oh, Ivy, so nice for you take time from your new schedule to visit with me.
Fingerless are just so wonderful to create. There are scads of leftover yarns just waiting for their turn to be picked up and sent to the needle.

  9. Love those mitts. Both of them. Too much fun!

On a quick side note, I ALWAYS wear some version of blue nail polish, as its a good colour with my skin tone. I am 46 years old. A lady two weeks ago at a social function pointed to my nails..."Is it okay to wear blue at your age?"!!!!! Well, I was a bit taken aback, I must say. Never occured to me that I couldn't wear blue. I just looked at her and stated "I belong to the Blue Nail Society...you know, like the red hat society...same thing." And then I walked away....

All Hail the Blue Nail Society!!

    2. I like to think I liberated her! Maybe she was told it wasn't proper and now she has thrown caution to the wind! Good thing I wasn't wearing my neon green polish.

We've had a few less warm days, but those 90 degrees F days are still among us. NO! I;m not wishing for wintery snow, just cool days.
