Scrappy Spiderweb a la Bonnie K Hunter

Here it is, pieced into three strips of five stars each.
As I'll be quilting-as-I-go,
this configuration works best for me.
The yellow and the red outline fabrics were purchased just for this project.
The spiderweb strips were all scrap pieces
mostly given to me by a friend, some are small leftovers from my projects.

My Bernina 440 is going to come into play for the quilting.
The Singer Model 15 (ca 1970?) that was used for all the paper foundation stitching is put aside for now.
Ahhh, gorgeous Autumn !

BTW, I add a couple of widgets on the right sidebar [top]
Quilt top measures approx 48" x 58"

  1. Nice job. Glad to see you doing a bit of sewing again.

    1. Can't stay away from my sewing machines for too long.
Love using up scraps as a bonus.

This one is for me, Betty.
Have just the right fabric for the backing, a. Kaffe Fassett shot cotton
      Just perfect ‼️‼️

      Thanks for stopping by, gal

  2. This sure looks like hours and hours and hours and hours of work. Very striking. Good job.

    1. You're right!
      Now it's the free!-motion-quilt-as-I-go attack
      That is on my brain.
The quilting is to be done on one-third of the quilt at a time.
Will be spending some time practicing, practicing.
Missed a chance to chat last evening.
