Could not resist this colorway ! !
Oh, the Purples. And what about that Gold! ! !
When unwound its beauty was undeniable.
Such rich colors.
Once I decided it would become a lovely pair of sox I searched Ravelry for a pattern that would not interfer with the gorgeous colors.
So many great patterns to choose from.
After all the oooh-ing and ah-ing
'Honey Badger' designed by Irishgirlieknits with its eyelet pattern is just enough to keep my interest in what otherwise would have been plain Stockinette knitting.
Have not turn out exactly as I thought.
The Gold is not as predominate as I expected.
Interesting . . . .
Only a couple more inches before I cast off.
Can't wait to wear 'em.

Lovely yarn with great colors. I too thought they would knit up differently. Like we said, it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get with hand painted yarn. I still think they look very nice.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely and they'll have their share in the rotation
DeleteDefinitely not what I imagined when in the skein
A lesson learned with each project
