Oh, this one's a whole lot easier than
Goldenrod Pointelle.
Hang Ten
designed by Wendy Gaal
see my previous post
from
Knitters Brewing Company
caught my eye at very first glance.
Though it was shown in a wonderful shade of blue,
this minty green Cascade Heritage that I used on Hedera III
is such a great yarn to work with that I decided on using it for my version.
This is how it looks with the cuff chart completed.

Now I'll begin the leg portion
which involves
Chart A,
Chart B
and, Chart C.

Everything else is on hold for the time being,
even the painting of my ex-darkroom.
Since photography - b&w, slides, etc. - has gone by the way-side
I've been using the room for other hobbies.
I've gotten the bug that I want the room
white
with pink accents
so yesterday I cut-in the ceiling and walls.
Will roll the rest when the mood strikes.

It is HOT IN MID-MISSOURI ! ! ! !
90 plus a little bit today
very, very high 80s yesterday.
Yikes
What happened to spring?

Great cuff Gerry and I can't wait to see the rest when you get it done.
ReplyDeleteA white room with pink trim?...perfect for you.
I think your weather is hotter than mine! We were 87 and humid! I am about ready to just hang under the fan and forget the garden!
Nice looking socks. Have fun with the painting.
ReplyDeletePink and white - sounds delish! I like the green for the new socks (I wonder if I'm feeling alright) and am anxious to see how they progress.
ReplyDeleteOnly in the'70's here in NC - was down to 50 over a cold weekend. Guess overall though there is no room to complain. It will be hot and humid soon enough.
Hugs - Marie
These socks certainly have interesting cuffs. I am eagerly awaiting a photo of completion of Chart A.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I just received a Kreativ Blogger award, and I wanted to pass it on to you! Hope it's OK to leave the link here:

I was painting this week! But nothing as fun as what you're doing. I was trying to freshen up our kitchen. It takes SUCH a beating! I love the green you're using here! And what beautiful cuffs. I, too, cannot wait to see more of it! x&o, Annette
